WOW! Their fish fry was top notch. We stopped here on a last minute change and will be planning for it in the future. The fish was excellent and worth driving out of your way for. My son got a chicken sandwich and the youngest chicken tenders. They took their time making those as well so I was very impressed. My only disappointment was I did not try their old fashioned. We will be back in a couple of weeks and going out of our way to stop here. The Cajun fish fry was the best but both options were excellent.
Walleye fish taste like perfection! The garlic parmesan chippers and shrimp tacos were delicious as well! And, the price for what I received and the portion was affordable. I'd come back.
Two single moms who are exhausted, nowhere near home and have already tried 2 other restaurants on a Friday night, walk into a bar/grill for dinner with 4 kids 11 and under. Who would have thought that this was the best place for them? The food was fantastic, the service was better, the other patrons were understanding and so amazing! I really wish we lived closer because what an amazing place this is!
My son & I went for the fish fry, and I'm super glad we did. We sat at the bar, although there is a room off the bar area with tables if that's your preference. It was our first time here and we were greeted warmly by the staff behind the bar. FANTASTIC hand-muddled Old Fashion. Seriously, the best I've had maybe ever! Our food came quickly and was DELICIOUS with good sized portions. Both of us ordered the haddock, me with broasted wedges and the kidlet had French fries. The dinners also come with toasted rye bread and coleslaw. You definitely get a lot of value here for your money. The staff was friendly & attentive. One of the best dining-out experiences I've had in quite a while. Will absolutely be back!
This is a must stop!! Owners are very friendly and food is awesome.. we often travel north always coming through Wittenberg, happy we stopped.. a diamond in the rough for sure and you won’t be disappointed!
We enjoyed our stop for lunch while traveling. We started with bloody Mary’s I had delicious ham and pea soup and a crisp fresh side salad, my husband had a burger and onion rings. The food was fresh and good. The staff was enjoyable from the owner, chef to the bar staff. I would stop again without hesitation.
Best Prime Rib I've had in a long time. Fun, casual atmosphere, great staff and clientele.
